Delegation visit from the Austria and the United Kingdom

A group from the Austria and the United Kingdom have just visited the Ashrang school project to see for themselves what progress has been made by the generous donations given to CENUK. As you can see, the top floor of the school has now been extended, no longer is there a room with ill-fitting roof. All classrooms have been rendered along with the outside walls of the school and of course, a good lick of paint has been applied. The ground for the new classroom wing had been purchased during 2008 and now the building is taking shape. The school itself is now been enclosed by walls, making it a true school compound. Electricity is working well and over 60% of the villagers have power. CENUK are now in the process of renovating, rebuilding one of the primary schools and a new classroom block and toilets have already started.
Buy a brick for just ₤5 and help us raise ₤250,000 to provide education for orphans and the children of poor families in the Gorkha District of Nepal, the ancestral home of the British Army Gurkhas.
All donors will have their names engraved and forever recorded on our memorial wall located in the village of Ashrang, Gorkha.
